We have 6 primary lessons horses at the farm. Most have been with us since they were 4 years old or younger and the youngest is now 12! We have been happy to share our little herd over the years and have made countless friends and been part of endless wholesome memories shared with others whom also love all things horse and the great outdoors! Penny
Penny’s formal name is KeeptheChange. She is a favourite amongst the children as she is small in size and LOVES to be groomed and hugged! Penny is 12 years old (2010) and was born at at CreRun Farm in West Virginia.
Kohl
Khol’s formal name is Nat King Kohl. He is a tall friendly arabian/saddlebred cross. He has a very kind/calm nature . Kohl is 12 years old (born in 2009) and was born at RideaufieldFarm near Ottawa.
Paris
Paris’ formal name is “Evening in Paris.” She is an athletic 13 year old (2008) Arabian mare. Paris was also born at Rideaufield Farm near Ottawa.
Aziim
Aziim is a 14 year old (2008) Egyptian Arabian. Aziim is our “class clown” with tons of personality. He is very smooth to ride and is another favourite amongst the children.
Spirit
Spirit’s formal name is “Kindred Spirit.” He is a 19 year old (2002) Morgan/quarter horse cross and he loves to take riders out on the trail.
Wind
Wind’s formal name is “Windlord”. He is 17 year old (2004), very tall Clydesdale/Hannovarian Cross. Don’t let his size fool you though, he is truly a “gentle giant” and a pleasure to ride.
